About Me
My name is Melissa Crosson and I love to create bold, colorful work that provokes thought and spreads joy.
I grew up in Chicago, where my creative spark was first ignited thanks to happy days spent pouring through fashion magazines and marveling at the beauty of the world around me.
Eventually, I made my way to North Carolina, where I received my Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts from Mitchell College and where I spent the next 20+ years establishing a career as a versatile creative professional.
From seeing my art displayed on billboards throughout North Carolina to the time I sent an upcylcled bedsheet down the New York Fashion Week runway, my journey is one full of adventure and discovery as I pursue my passion and celebrate the unbridled power of creativity wherever I go.
